We are delighted that for the second year we submitted some of our meat to the Taste of the West Awards and this time won two Golds and one silver - as below. Last year we won one gold award.

These results reflect our passion for quality and the fact that we insist on all our animals coming from our own farms (except the venison) where we can monitor their growth from birth to customer.
We were actually very pleased with the silver award as well as the golds, as the Angus meat could only be hung for a few days, instead of the normal three weeks before we had to cut the fillet out for this competition. (The rest of the meat will continue to hang for the full three weeks or more to get the full flavour and texture)
