We had a fantastic day at the races. Not that we won anything! Nor even saw but a glimpse of the races, which we were told were excellent. Instead we had a tent and a 'hog roast' BBQ that proved to be the attraction of the food stalls. We served a carvery with lamb, beef, and pork BBQ roast slices in bread baps, freshly cooked Angus steaks, special warming soup and lots of extra goodies for the kids, of every age.

The queue went for 30 metres or so and stayed like that for 90 minutes while we served people at a very fast pace. By the end of it our backs hurt from bending over to carve, but we did not mind as customer just kept coming back for more.
