Loin of Pork Our award winning rare breed, shown here as pork loin, is tasty, tender and succulent.

The rare breed Saddleback pigs are reared outdoors at Frost Farm where they can be seen rooting around the fields and under the trees. They mature naturally, then we take the animals to the abattoir ourselves to minimise the stress level, hang them well and have them butchered expertly by our top class butcher. The benefit is apparent in the taste.

Shoulder - The shoulder makes a really superb large joint , and cooked with fennel and garlic for 8 or more hours in a slow oven, the meat falls from the bone in a tasty heap. And the crackling is irresistible!
